The exhibition “EGYPT. Journey Towards Immortality”, taking place at the Palazzo Sarcinelli in Conegliano, developed in collaboration with the National Archeological Museum of Florence and curated by Dr. Maria Cristina Guidotti former Director of the Egyptian Collection, explored the concept of eternal life in Ancient Egypt, and in particular the interpretation and practices of the ancient Egyptians in preparing the deceased for the life to come: the practices of mummification and embalmment.
