In January of 2016, the first of four prestigious Chinese museums celebrated the inauguration of the exhibition, Eternal City, Splendours of Ancient Rome, organized by Contemporanea Progetti and Triumph Asia in collaboration with leading Italian museum archaeological collections. As the old adage suggests, “Rome was not built in a day,” but over the course of many centuries. To recount the history on one of the most powerful and influential empires that the world has ever known through the urban development and architectural triumphs of its capital city is truly a daring and innovative concept for an exhibition.
The exhibition tour was successfully developed across the Chengdu Jinsha Site Museum, the Tianjin Museum, the Shandong Provincial Museum, and the Yunnan Provincial Museum.
