This impressive exhibition, the result of an international collaboration between Contemporanea Progetti of Florence and the Musée du Luxembourg of Paris, was a testimony to the vibrant artistic milieu that started in the workshop of Filippo Lippi in Renaissance Prato. Including 51 works of art, delicate paintings on panel, but also terracotta sculpture and detached fresco, the exhibition featured three of Filippo Lippi’s most important “pala” paintings. Due to exceptional loans from the Museo Civico, Musei Diocesani of Prato and the Galleria degli Uffizi of Florence, the exhibition offered a unique array of art works to be admired by the visitors.
