Through 160 original archaeological artifacts, some never exhibited before outside of Italy, the exhibition recounts the compelling story of the Gladiators and of the Colosseum, the stage upon which their destiny was determined.
In June 2024, a new edition of our world’s renowned exhibition “Gladiators, Heroes of the Colosseum” was launched in Québec, Canada at the Musée de la Civilisation. Developed in collaboration with former Director of the Colosseum, Dr. Rossella Rea, the exhibition was conceived and organized by Contemporanea Progetti and its partner Expona, in collaboration with prestigious museums of Italy, such as the Archaeological Park of the Colosseum in Rome, the National Museum of Rome or the National Archeological Museum of Naples.
