Julius Caesar. I Came, I Saw, I Met my Doom, was the first grand exhibition organized at the H’ART MUSEUM in Amsterdam, formerly known as Hermitage Museum, after its renovation. Presenting ca. 150 exquisite archaeological artifacts from leading Museums such as the National Roman Museum of Rome and the National Archaeological Museum of Florence, the exhibition intended to provide a comprehensive overview on the life of Julius Caesar, including his origins, his political and military career within the Rome of the Late Republic, as well as his assassination, the climax of the exhibition narrative. The exhibition was developed in collaboration with Expona.
