Julius Caesar himself led the visitor along the narrow streets of his youth in Suburra, through the battlefields of ancient Gaul, up the steps of the majestic Forum of Imperial Rome
The international exhibition, Julius Caesar, Triumph and Death of a Roman Conqueror had its European debut at the Kuopion Museum in Finland in September 2022 due to the extraordinary collaboration between Contemporanea Progetti, Expona, and the Museo Nazionale Archeologico of Florence, Italy. Through a selection of special original artifacts, combined with interactive multimedia devices and immersive rooms, the exhibition recounted the life story of the indomitable Julius Caesar, unveiling his compelling personality, and the formidable events that transformed Rome from a republic into the greatest Empire of the ancient western world.
