Gladiators, the Experience
The exhibition separates facts from fiction and illustrates the fascinating world of Gladiators, the heroes of the ancient arenas. The exhibition unfolds on two paths revealing two protagonists interwoven by destiny: the Gladiators and the Colosseum, the biggest arena of the Antiquity and still today one of the wonders of the world.
Through the display of life-size reconstructions, interactive exhibits, multimedia devices and immersive environments the life of the Heroes of the Arena becomes an exciting and touching experience and bring visitors – like through a time machine- back to ancient Rome.
The exhibition opens also a door to present times, where the mass-entertainment sports-industry (like football etc.) is an important part of our everyday life. Workshops and interactive experiences make the exhibition particulary appealing for families and schools.
