Among the great civilizations that populated the Mediterranean coasts and the territories of today’s Europe, the Etruscan is undoubtedly one of the most fascinating, and at the same time one of the least known to the general public. In July 2019, Contemporanea Progetti proudly inaugurated the large-scale exhibition “The Etruscans, Rising to Rome” at the National Museum of Korea in Seoul featuring artefacts and works of art rarely seen outside of Italy from leading Etruscan collections.
The great exhibition “Los Etruscos. El amanecer de Roma”, opened at the MARQ in Alicante-Spain in August 2021, brought to light the history of the mysterious and refined Etruscan civilization in its evolution, starting from its origins in the 9th century BCE, up to its gradual absorption with the dominion of Rome in the 1st century BCE.
